Week 13 summary

Last weekend I was not able to access the internet, so I was unable to watch any games as they happened. This might have been a blessing because two of the players that we traded last week performed well. Both Davis and Wallace scored goals last week we traded both of those guys to prep for week 15. DOH! Overall, out team did not really do poorly. We missed out on 5 points from Oduro because Hedges played about the last few of the Dallas game, but other than that, everyone got at least 5 points and we ended up with a score of 69.

Week 14 Changes

Not a lot to do this week actually, but at least one big trade. We finally came to a decision… trade Zusi. Yup, we rode that cash cow long enough but missing at least 3 games is not something we want to play with. The biggest difficulty in making this decision was who would replace him? Problem solved. The newly traded Mike Magee is out man. We liked how quickly he integrated into the Chicago team and we think that they will be able to beat DC this week.

Trade number two was not one that had been planned, but with the recent injuries of Hedges and the bye game coming up, we decided it was time to go. In his place, we brought back Jeff Parke to our lineup. We like the look of the Toronto matchup this week (even as an away game) and the Columbus has some promise. Philly has suffered from a poor backline recently, but we are hoping an easier schedule and Parke will help fix that.

Now the real hard park this week was picking a captain. Unfortunately I was too busy and sick to put up the captain poll and discussion, so I apologize. It came down to Morales and Magee for us. We said no to Donovan because LA is missing a lot of their attacking players and he plays better with Keane. In the end we decided that we needed to remember that this is only a game, and it’s still important to have fun with it. So we picked Mike Magee for our captain. We think Chicago is a better team than DC and since Magee has already scored for them, we think he has a great shot of doing it again against DC.

Our bench was easy too, With Will Johnson out and Oduro listed as questionable, that left Brown for the number 1 spot.

Week 15 Prep

We are in a great position to use the 3 trades next week to bring in players for the bye week for DOOM! We have not decided yet if we will trade Collin or not, and I’d like to get a new keeper too. We may save one trade for week 16 so we can have 4, but we will be using our wildcard for Week 16 or Week 17.

So that’s the KFC team for Week 14. What do you think? How did your team do? Have any questions for us? Want input on your team? Stop by r/FantasyMLS and post. There are many good members who can help out with questions. We are also now on Twitter @FantasyMLSTips. Feel free to tweet us too.
