KFC’s Fantasy MLS Forward picks – Week 17

Forwards

Here are our forward picks for week 17.

If you want to see more, keep reading after the break. But please join the discussion at r/FantasyMLS, that’s where a lot of planning is made and last second decisions finalized. If you have questions, please stop by!

Again another short one, but that’s because I don’t like many of the options.

Forwards

Montreal, New England, and Vancouver are all on a bye this week, and that takes 3 names right off the table when it comes to potential forward picks. So who’s left? At the top of the list is Robbie Keane. We know some were concerned by his performance last night, but Portland played to contain him and succeeded  Chivas is not Portland and we expect him to do well against them. Next is Will Bruin. He’ll have Davis back this week and Toronto has conceded 10 goals in 7 away games. Houston has scored 9 over 7 home games and Bruin has 2 of those. He’s also racked up a few assists. Our final pick is Jack McInerney. Normally, this game against New York might be a bit too close to call for us, but with Olave out due to a red card, we think this gives Jack Mac a good chance to grab a goal.

You can also keep an eye on Real Salt Lake, and San Jose. They have some players that could score this week, but they either have players with spotty playtime or spotty scoring records. So they could both be differential options.

Final thoughts

• Again, maybe Columbus, but we are just not sure what to expect from them yet.

• Can you pass up San Joes against DC?

That’s all I got. I’d love to hear your feedback, plans, and insights.

These are our picks, if you think there should be more names on this list, please leave a comment or come to r/FantasyMLS and comment on the post. You can also leave a message on our Facebook page or you can find us on Twitter @FantasyMLSTips. Keep checking back for more updates through the week for other positions. Good Luck!
