New injuries from last week:

  • Valeri: picked up a contusion in training late last week. He’s definitely out for this week, and it’s not certain about Week 18.
  • Liam Ridgewell: questionable.
  • Kaka: Out with a calf issue for 17, unclear status for 18.
  • Evans: gametime decision for a calf injury
  • Drogba: Out for this week, and with Week 18 on Portland’s turf you can count him out until at least Week 19 (although he may be in Turkey doing a charity match instead if his healthy, but we’ll deal with that next week)
  • Altidore: officially “questionable” for tomorrow after returning to training this week, but he’s having an MRI today which makes me think he’s out for 17.
  • Moor: He missed the 18 last week, but I haven’t been able to find out why. He’s not on the official injury report, for whatever that’s worth.
  • Dwyer: suspended for yellow card accumulation
  • Shuttleworth: suspended for red card
  • Serna: out for the season after surgery for knee injury
  • LeToux: was battling concussion issues, but haven’t seen any updates this week. With a bye in 18, you probably have moved him out of your lineup anyway.
