Having trouble deciding on who to pick for your captain? Here are a few things to keep in mind. Is the team playing at home? Are there any key injuries (on either team)? Who had a good Preseason? Did Andrew Wiebe see his shadow this morning?All of these things help. Here are my top 3 choices:
1) Federico Higuain: This is the easy and most popular call this week. A good match against Toronto, good form, and always a good bet for at least bonus points. He’s my captain.
2) Robbie Keane: A week’s rest and a game against Chivas are two good reason to consider Keane this week. Chivas has been a little surprising this week, but this should be an easy game for LA because it’s basically at home.
3) FGraham Zusi: I don’t think the US v Mexico too too much out of him and it was only in Arizona. After the performance he had last week, I found it hard to to include him on this list. RSL will be tough, but that just means he’ll have the opportunity to generate bonus points from crosses, KP, and maybe even set pieces.
