Don’t forget to vote in the MLS Fantasy Boss 2016 Round 6 Captain Poll!

Diego Valeri: The CLEAR winner of the captain poll, and my top pick, is Diego Valeri. Yes it’s great that he’s scored a goal or earned an assist in three of his five games, but his true value is his ability to consistently generate bonus point without scoring. With two games, there is a change that Valeri only sees 140 min, but maybe Porter will save the rest for the Round 7 bye. Regardless, it’s very possible that Valeri could hit 20+ points this round.

Graham Zusi: My number two pick is where I break ranks with the poll results. I think Graham Zusi is the SKC midfielder most likely to have a big DGW.  As I’ve been saying on Twitter and MLS, besides being tied for most assists, Zusi is the only player who has Key Pass numbers in the double digits. This shows how important he still is to the SKC attack and I believe that will turn into more points over the DGW. Perhaps I’m setting myself up for a big flop. If so, I’ll take my ribbing with stride, or maybe it will be myself and the other 3.1 percent of managers who get to enjoy our fantasy spoils.

Urruti: Once again, I’m back to agreeing with the poll. What I like about the Uruti captain is his game against Portland. I agree that this will be his ppportunity to show Porter exactly what he is made of and why he is worthy of a 90min forward position. If this turns into the “revenge” game that some people believe it will, then Urruti could have a sweet score at the end of this week.
