Having trouble deciding on who to pick for your captain? Here are a few things to keep in mind. Is the team playing at home? Are there any key injuries (on either team)? Who had a good Preseason? Did Andrew Wiebe see his shadow this morning?All of these things help. Here are my top choices:
1) Erick Torres: Very rarely will you see a Chivas player at the top of my list, but Torres has shown he can score. He’s actually scored in 4 of the 5 home games Chivas has had. Go Goats!
2) Dominic Dwyer: SKC is not at 10% right now, but Dwyer remain productive. He’s scored 6 goals in the last 4 games and is tied for most goals scored so far (with 10). DC could be the toughest game of this series, but he has a good chance for a double digit point return.
3) Diego Veleri: He’s starting to get some of his old form back, and we all remember how much an in form Veleri can mean to out point totals. Vancouver will be a tough game, but Cascadia matches are always intense.
