Don’t forget to vote in the MLS Fantasy Boss Round 3 Captain poll!
Chris Wondolowski: Home field, form, and opponent. Wondo has the full set of advantages going into Round 3 and and that makes him my top captain pick. In the poll he’s currently tied for 2nd, and with under 7% ownership, he could really be quite the rewarding differential for managers who are brave enough to take this chance.
Blas Perez: Three goals in two games and playing against a Philly team that allowed two three goals last week. If you have Perez on your team that I think he’s an excellent option. If not, he’s not worth bringing in because of the upcoming international games.
Octavio Rivero: Coming in at my number three spot is Rivero. It’s just too hard to argue against his current form and with Orlando suffering from a bout with a stomach bug right now, I’m not confident they will be 100% for this match.
Long Shot
David Villa: I know he had a great game in Round 2 and I know that a lot of people believe that Colorado will be the new Chivas, but we’ve only seen them play once game, and Villa is not used to playing in this altitude. I’d rather wait for a more promising home game for the DGW before giving him the armband.
