Mauro Diaz: There were two emotions that many managers experienced that Round thanks to Diaz, Anger and Depression. The first was due to the late announcement of an injury that was suffered the previous day and the second was due to not knowing if he would be available for the DGW. However, we know that Pareja like to be cautions with Diaz, and early reports on his status are promising, so I think he’s worth the risk as your captain forthis round and he takes my number 1 spot.
Dom Dwyer: Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past few weeks, you’re well aware that New York has sustained injuries to both of their key CBs. This is a huge blow and one I expect SKC’s stacked offense to try to exploit. While I’m not so confident that Dwyer will achieve his 30 goal promise this season, I do think he’ll have great opportunities to score as SKC’s looks to rebound from the disappointing loss against RSL.
Kaka: Whenever I say positive things about Kaka, I feel like people always like to point out how down I was on him at the start of last season. Well I don’t regret that and I think that first year helped him adjust a lot to this league and we saw that in his first game back in Round 4 when he scored a goal and earned two assists. I think Kaka has a good chance for another strong showing in Round 5 because he should be shouldering most of hte attacking responsibilities while Larin is out.
