The poll is very divided this week so it will be interesting to see where the points fall.

Giovinco: For many managers the decision really comes down to one question, to Gio ro not to Gio. From most of hte conversations I’ve had, he’s the clear captain choice for this round and it’s not hard to see why. Excellent form, involved with EVERY goal that Toronto has scored so far, and he’s finally playing at home. It’s a nice combination but if you have not had him from the beginning, or have not been planning for this round, you may have to make some difficult choices to afford him.

Valeri: The only other strong contender I can suggest as a captain alternative is Diego Valeri and that is simply because of the goals history that Cascadia games tend to have and his ability to generate bonus points. Am I starting to sound like a broken record yet when I talk about his bonus points production? Yes, well good because it’s seriously amazing.

Jermaine Jones: Though, if you want to have a little fun with you captain pick, you could go with Jones. He’s been on fire for Colorado these past few weeks and is a big reason why they have been able to keep positive momentum flowing this year.
