2025 MLS Fantasy Season Kickoff

Hello all you MLS Fantasy Sickos! We’re just a few short weeks away from the start of the 2025 season so I wanted to take a moment to officially kick things off here at MLSFB. 

First, hello to all of our returning players! It’s great to have you back and I look forward to hearing about how you build upon your success from last year! Second, welcome to anyone jumping into the MLS Fantasy pool for the first time. You’re in for a wild ride but rest assured that you are in good hands because you’ve found the BEST MLS Fantasy community around.

So what can you expect from MLS Fantasy Boss in 2025?

• A revised MLSFI format

  • We’ve heard the feedback and we’re making changes to speed up the show. We’ll have two main segments each week. 1) Previous round recap & 2) Target players. The information previously covered in our Housekeeping section will move to other formats.
  • There may be times when we have a third segment of the show, but it will be reserved for special guest interviews or pressing MLS Fantasy topics.

• Pro/Rel continues

  • Our every popular MLSFB pro/rel system will be back for 2025 and there will be updates to the special section of the MLSFB site to list all of the players and their standings.
  • One of our amazing Discord members also created logos for each tier and I’m excited to share those at a later date.

• A new MLSFB team member

  • Matt “Wojo” Wojteczko joins the team this year as our lead on Content Curation. If that name sounds familiar it’s because Wojo is an active MLSFB discord member and one of the top players in the MLS Fantasy game. His most recent achievement was coming in 2nd during the 2024 season.
  • Matt will be organizing great new articles on this site and helping schedule guests for MLSFI.

• New Fantasy Articles

  • Speaking or articles, we have some exciting new content planned for this year. You can expect to see streamlined pre-season advice, stats analysis, interview transcripts with top players, weekly player rankings, and maybe even some new video shorts. 

So when can you expect to see this new content? It all starts this week as we kick things off with our Fantasy preview of San Diego FC and the first in our series of preseason player rankings. 2025 is going to be great, and I’m so happy to have you all along for the MLS Fantasy ride!
