Boateng was the best player in fantasy over the weekend, and will hope to carry over his performance into the DGW. He placed second in SB Nation’s player of the week vote, only narrowly behind MLS MVP, Giovinco. It might be smart to sit on him for a while and see if he can replicate his breakout performance. Don’t take your eyes off of him.

Jordan Morris

Club: Seattle Sounders

Any USMNT fan will be hoping Morris is finally hitting his professional stride after netting his first goal, and following it up with another a week later. He started off this season priced arguably high, but if he can get on a goal-streak, then he will be worth the cash.

Luciano “La Joya” Acosta

Club: DC United

Position: Forward

PPM: 0.870

Acosta had a great preseason and looked to be DC’s star heading into the season. Surprisingly, it hasn’t worked out that way… yet. Although he has had a slower start than expected, he has plenty of time to get going, and with a goal over the weekend, fans are left wondering if he’s about to catch fire.
