Well, it was another rough week for most keepers. Though, I find it hard to feel bad about this because at least we are getting to see goals. Some of these goals break out hearts (/cough Hamid) as they go in at the least second and others just make us happy (well done Chicago). It’s also great to see some newer keepers getting clean sheets (grats Irwin). But I know that at the end of the day, we all want clean sheets for our fantasy teams. Almost everyone is playing this week, and there are several promising matchups.
Big 3
Bill Hamid (DC v NY), Troy Perkins (MON vs CLB), and Tally Hall (HOU vs CHI).

Nick Rimando (Real Salt Lake) vs Vancouver
Price: $6.0m
Owned by: 12.5%
Rimando is the only away keepers that made it onto our list this week. RSL had a rough time last week, going down early to Colorado and never able to get an equalizer. It’s a performance that we think Rimando will want to make up for. Vancouver is in better form than Colorado, but it’s still nothing to brag about. Rimando is still in the top 10 keepers and has a good group of keepers in front of him. As long as RSL can keep their shoes on, a clean sheet is possible.
Dan Kennedy (Chivas) vs Colorado
Price: $5.0m
Owned by: 9.2%
One of the biggest surprised of this early season is the excellent performance of Chivas. To not mention Dan Kennedy when listing reasons why would do his a disservice. He has been unable to keep a clean sheet this season, but has generated enough saves and recoveries to still put of respectable numbers. Their home game against Colorado is the calm before the storm (RSL, SJ, SKC) and could be Kennedy’s first clean sheet.
Michael Gspurning (Seattle) vs New England
Price: $5.8m
Owned by: 8.6%
There is no sugar coating this, Seattle are off to a horrid start! One point in 4 games…ouch. We think that their luck is going to turn around soon, and this home game against New England could be that time. New England has struggled at scoring goals and that is good news for Seattle.
Differential
Raul Fernandez (Dallas) vs LA
Price: $5.5m
Owned by: 2.6%
Dallas have been in great form, and have one of the highest scoring defenses in fantasy right now. LA will be a good test for them, but it’s one that we think they will be up for. They have been rotating keepers a bit, so that could be of concern. If you are worried, Philadelphia’s Zac MacMath ($4.9m @ 2.6%) is another option that we feel is just as good. So LA or Toronto, pick your poison for this one.
