The first round of the Semi Finals is now over. My favorite game was definitely Seattle v Portland, and my biggest disappointment was the result in New England v Sporting Kansas City. When all the dust settled, of the 4 games we predicted 2 correctly, 1 incorrectly (though not surprising), and 1 game drew. Not too bad in my book, but what about the crucial second leg?

Semi Finals Leg 1 Games and Power Rankings
In case you are wondering, overall, our ELO system successfully predicted the winner in 53% of the games played during the regular season. If you want to include draws in these numbers (since a team still gains points and the system considers it half a win), then our predicted winner did not loose 78% of the time. Not too bad.
