I’m trying something new this week and posting the captain poll early to try and get more responses. I have not looked at a lot of numbers yet, but I believe I have three solid early choices. Don’t forget, the transfer deadline is Friday the 19th at 10:00pm EST so be sure to get all of your trades in and captain set. Remember, you don’t get a Vice Captain this year.

Kickoff is under two hours away, so it’s time to make out decision about captain
1) Javier Morales: He’s been off a lot of teams for a while, but RSL has won their last three home games and Colorado has lost the last six on the road. During the last three, Morales has racked up 2 goals and 2 assists and tonight could see more promising returns.
2) Landon Donovan: LA and Dallas are both better when they play at home, and this week it’s LA. He’s had his card suspension now so I expect him to hit the field hard to makeup for the 90 that he missed.
3) Bradley Wright-Phillips: I once again have confidence in BWP after his little break to make sure his hamstrings were in good shape. Some may go for Henry here, or no NY layers at all against the on form Sounders team, but I think he’ll be able to break the line.
