Like many of you last week, I was hit by the injury stick and did not break the 3 digit mark like I had hoped. Still I ended with 88 points and I was pretty happy with that. This week was all bout bot taking a hit for me and fielding a solid team. I plan to use my Wild Card next week so my players did not matter too much. The only down side is it’s a short time between Rounds so there will not be much value to gain.
MLS Fantasy Boss League (Maybe a Trophy) – Auto Join
Keepers – Stayed with Gruenebaum because I don’t like the number of gals Montreal have allowed and neither keeper is sure to start both games. No need to waste a transfer here.
Defenders – I had to drop Gargan after that Red Card and I jsut replaced him with Nwiloh. I’m planning to downsize my defenders during my Wild Card and I already had 4 starters.
Midfielders – With the money I saved on defense I was able to bring in Dempsey this week. He had a great start after the World Cup and I think he will be able to ride that form. I’m hoping Hurtado will have a good game, but I can’t wait to ditch him next round.
Forwards – I still love this 4 man combo and it was easy choice of who to play this week.
Bench – A couple of sub options but I’m not sure they will be needed.
Captain – I was considering Moor for a long time, but the 1-3 pounding Chivas gave them earlier in the season worries me. Both teams are on good form and I can’t count on Torres to not score. So it’s going to Dempsey.
