MLS Fantasy Boss Team – Round 5

No -4s this week and I was able to stick with my original Round 5 plan. At least one trade was a little iffy, and I’m not totally happy with my defense still, but I feel good about this round.

MLS Fantasy Boss League (Maybe a Trophy) – Auto Join

Keepers – No change. I like the chance of a Houston clean sheet over SKC this week. You have to respect that home form IMO.

Defenders – I’d really like to move away from having 5 defenders, but I have just not been able to do it yet. I have some clean sheet hopes for a few of them, but I’m not counting on it. If needed, McNamara may make an appearance.

Midfielders – Goodbye P. Morales, hello Landon Donovan. I don’t care if people this he is not fit, I expect him to play and to have a good showing against Chivas. Salinas is on the bench this week due to the SJ bye and his price is just to good to not hold onto.

Forwards – I got everything out of Defoe that I expected and have traded him out for Keane. I have high hope for a couple of goals against Chivas. Keane and Higuain made my captain choice hard this week.

Bench – Surprisingly, my bench is actually filling out. I have at least 3 players who actually play and are cheap. Go team!

Captain – Has to be Higuain in the end. Form, Fixture, and Bonus Production are all wrapped up in one nice package.
