Medranda $6.2 SKC: Going out on a limb and calling this midfielder a defender for the week. Medranda has just one bad game in five where he has gone the full 90. Over the last 4, he’s scored 8 three times with a 7 along the way. Talk about consistency for the winger converted to FB.
Venagas $7.8 & Ontivero $7.9 MTL: Both of these players have seen plenty of time on the pitch for Montreal and the injury to Piatti will allow for more. Both have shown themselves to be more than capable when they are playing their best.
Lampard $10.1 NYC: Lampard got his first start of the year and it’s also the first time all 3 designated players have scored for NYC in the same game. With Poku, Lopez, and the rest, this situation just got a whole lot worse. Good luck picking the right starters here.
Finlay $10.6 CLB: Without Kamara, Higuain, and Casey all battling injuries, it’s up to guys like Finlay and Meram to carry the load, so there is a potential to stock up there. Finlay was actually the striker in last round’s match against Montreal. Without playmakers and injuries mounting, it could be feast of famine with a few huge differential picks.
