Rowe $4.6 LA: Rowe appears to have locked down the starting spot for the foreseeable future. Dan Kennedy has dressed and been in the 18 three straight weeks, but has not gotten the nod from Bruce Arena. It appears that Rowe will continue to start as long as his solid performances continue.
Smith $5.0 NE: With Tierney out, it was assumed Woodberry would take over the starting role, but it was the impressive youngster Smith who started both games. Another player with the same value and upside as Woodberry. Keep an eye on this one as the new cheap defender.
Lopez $5.3 NYC: With Mix Diskerud struggling, Mikey Lopez has gotten to straight starts and played well enough in that time. It’s unsure if he will hold onto that spot, but with McNamara pushing up to the wing, Lopez may be in the process of securing a starting role. While not a huge points earned, a $5.3 starting midfielder is a viable option.
Keane $11.5 LA: Robbie Keane was an unexpected absence this year with mid season knee surgery, but his recovery time is almost up. He’s a gamble for this week, but definitely a forward to keep an eye out for. The bigger implications of his return are the potential shifts with Zardes, Dos Santos, and Magee. One of them will be displaced by the returning Keane.
