The Wildcard games were easy. Bother Houston and Seattle came away with wins and shutouts. I’m honestly surprised that Seattle did not give up a goal, but I know that all of you with 4 defenders were not. This week, there are two games that could go wither way. In both games the home team has a light edge but the away team have played well against them during the season. This could be a week where clean sheets are not common.
In case you are wondering, overall, our ELO system successfully predicted the winner in 53% of the games played during the regular season. If you want to include draws in these numbers (since a team still gains points and the system considers it half a win), then our predicted winner did not loose 78% of the time. Not too bad.
If you want to see more, keep reading after the break.
