After a decent break, things are starting to heat up, but there are lots of new and nagging injuries to watch out for. With a free WC in round 19, it’s time to look at getting through the condensed field in round 18 before every manager gets to reset.
MacMath $5.3 COL: The current starter in Colorado is likely to be replaced when Tim Howard joins the team. Definitely one to watch out for and look to swap him out before he gets benched.
Coelho $7.9 SKC: He’s an early defender of the year candidate and the leading defender in Fantasy MLS, but the break and a few games rest haven’t been enough to get the near premium defender healthy again. It might be time to cut the losses and use his money elsewhere.
Piatti $10.8 MTL: Despite his streaky performances, he’s still the second highest scoring midfielder overall, but he went in for hand surgery during the break which will see him sidelined for at least two games.
Sapong $8.2 PHI: Sapong returns to Playtime Analysis, but for the wrong reasons this time. An ankle injury during break could potentially leave him sidelined. With the loss of Nogueira as well, Philly’s offenseive production is bound to shift. Herbers at $5.0 may be the value buy for the week.
