Fantasy MLS Captain Rankings: Round 4

Welcome back! Fantasy MLS captains rankings for round 4 are here after a surprising end to round 3 with 5 of the final matches being postponed. As the games resume again we look at the top 5 captaincy picks for the week

1) Alejandro Pozuelo (@Montreal Impact)

Pozuelo has been enjoying great form with an assist in each of his 2 games. He also had a hattrick of assists the last time they played MTL in a thrilling 3-4 victory. Toronto FC is unbeaten in their last 17 games and the assist king should haul in if past performances and form is anything to go by.

2) Pity Martinez (Vs Orlando City)

Looks like Atlanta United have put the ghosts of the MLS is back tournament behind them with a convincing win Vs Nashville United. The star of the show was Pity who looked sharp with his 2 goals. He should benefit from the absence of Barco and ORL got a problem on their hands if he looks dangerous again especially after conceding 3 goals to newcomers Inter Miami which was followed by a win Vs Nashville.

3) Raul Ruidiaz (Vs Los Angeles Football Club)

It’s not every day a player is recommended for captaincy Vs LAFC. They looked extremely poor in the 0-2 loss to Los Angeles Galaxy after thrashing them 6-2 earlier. If the LAFC defence struggles again then you can expect Ruidiaz to capitalize as he did with the brace Vs Portland Timbers last round.

4) Gadi Kinda (@Colorado Rapids)

Sporting Kansas City shocked everyone with their 2-5 loss at home Vs Houston Dynamo but the one team they can bounce back against is COL which has conceded 11 goals in their last 4 games. Kinda is going to be the man to look out for again with his 2 goals in the last 2 games.

5) Cristian Pavón (Vs San Jose Earthquakes)

LAG had a huge morale-boosting win VS LAFC last week which was mostly because of the opponent but we shouldn’t take anything away from the better team on the day. Their opponents this week are SJE who’ve had a bit of a long rest, last playing 26 days ago which isn’t always a good thing nor is Eriksson leaving. LAG would like to push themselves out of the last place and will hope that Pavon makes the most of his chances for that.
