KFC Team Week 19

Keep reading for the breakdown of our transfers.

Week 18 summary

What can I say, our big players did not produce like we hoped, except for Keane…our not captain. Oh well, that’s the way it works. It seems like everyone had a rough week so we’re just glad to put this one behind us.

Week 19 Changes

There was not a lot of time between these two weeks, so we have to make some quick changes.

The first change was to out keepers. With Irwin letting in some more goals, and Matt Pickens beginning training, Colorado might have a change in goal soon. SO we decided to cash in on Irwin now. To replace him we brought in Michael Gspurning.  He’s not a superstar keeper, but he has a nice mix of numbers and a good price. Since we plan on Ricketts being our main guy, he works well for us.

With Brad Davis having a bit of an injury and Houston having no game, we took the chance to grab Mike Magee again. He’s just been quality recently and we wanted to give him a shot at home again. So that means, we sold Landon, which was a very easy decision with the Gold Cup.

No other changes and out 1 extra Free Transfer carries over again.

We’re going for the Caparoo this week. We’re starting Ricketts and have given him the captain’s armband. We’re hoping for some magic from Di Vaio. It it works out, we will do nothing and Gspurning will auto sub in and Di Vaio will get our double points. If he grabs 2 points, we’ll use our manager sub to bring in Gspurning and will make Michel our captain.

Week 20 Prep

Most of our prep here will be planning to get some players for the double game in week 22. We’re going to take a hard look at our back line as well.

So that’s the KFC team for Week 18. What do you think? How did your team do? Have any questions for us? Want input on your team? Stop by r/FantasyMLS and post. There are many good members who can help out with questions. We are also now on Twitter @FantasyMLSTips. Feel free to tweet us too.
