KFC’s Gameweek Prediction – Week 33

 VS-Predictions

So this is something new that I am trying. I’ve been familiar with the idea of Strength of Schedule calculations for a while now, and had been looking for a way to calculate something for MLS Fantasy. After reading the articles at Football Glamour, I decided to try to figure out the ELO system. After several weeks of research and tinkering, I’ve come up with something that I’m happy with and am ready to post for feedback.

If it goes over well, I’ll post an explanation with more details in the future. Also, I have only ranked the teams, if you want to see more information about individual players, take a trip to Football Glamour. He has everything broken down by position and Fantasy Premier League info too.

If you want to see more, keep reading after the break.

The only thing good that can be said about DC is they have not lost ALL of they recent home games. It might be tight, but the edge goes to Chicago.

Montreal may have been able to draw with Chicago last week, but Houston is a beast at home.

With New York back at 100%, this will be a tough game for New England.

Columbus is on a roll with their new coach and they may be a handful for SKC who has ben struggling on the road, but it’s tight.

Philly got a big away will last week and will want to follow with a good home showing. Fortunately, they are playing Toronto.

RSL has been slipping a little, but Dallas is just a shadow of what they were at the start of the season.

Home advantage makes this lean toward Colorado, but with the form Seattle has been on, it’s easy to see why it’s close.

Many say LA is the best team in the league and It’s safe to say Chivas is one of the worst. Here’s a chance for easy points.

The last two Cascadia cup meetings with these teams resulted in draws, so this could be closer than the numbers imply.

These are our predictions, but as we have seen recently, MLS is always ready to throw us a curveball. I’d love to get some feedback on this, so please leave a comment or come to r/FantasyMLS and comment on the related post.
