MLS Fantasy Boss Team – Round 2

question-marks

My score in Round 1 was, respectable. I took some chances with the Dallas defense and those did not pay off. My round 2 team had two focuses to it. How to recover from my Round 1 gamble, and how to setup my team to bring in some big name attackers after CCL games are over.

Keepers – Sticking with these guys here. I’ve liked what I have seen so far so no reason to reinvent the wheel.

Defenders – Two big disappointments here last week, the Dallas defense and Kah’s injury. In the end, I decided that these transfers could wait because none of my players looked in danger of losing value. I like the clean sheet chances of Seattle and Houston this week, and I’m hoping that Hedges can gets some bonus points. Best case, the SKC offense if still a little tired from the CCL game.

Midfielders – Biggest changes came here. Pappa has some good moments, but I decided there was a better option from Seattle over the next few rounds. I dropped him for Morales (VAN) because he looked good in Round 1 and has a very good chance of stating this week. I was also able to avoid Pappa’s price drop. I also traded out Donovan. I did not do this until last night because I wanted to see if his price would drop. If it did not, I was going to trade Kah. But it did so I brought in Dempsey. This was a sideways move for Pappa, but I think he will energize the Seattle offense over the next few round.

Forwards – No change here. I think Oba will do better with Dempsey.

Bench – McNamara gets a start now and Acosta is riding the bench. With hope, he’ll stay healthy and earn some more value.

Captain – I debated a lot between Dempsey, Oba, ad Davis this week. Finally decided to go with Davis because I like is bonus production. I also think Montreal’s defense is worse that New England’s, so he has a good chance for goals and assists.

That’s what I’m going with. How does that compare to your team? If you have any questions about my team, or yours, I encourage you to post at /r/FantasyMLS or use the FREE Live Chat just to the right of this post. Posting pictures of your team is encouraged and most people are pretty good about giving constructive feedback.

Good Luck!
